General Terms of Sale

Article 1. Registration

Article 1. Registration The participant hereby declares that they are at least 18 years old at the time of registration for the CORRIDA ARTES ANDENNE, or that they have the consent of their legal guardian to register for the event. Registration is only valid if the registration form is duly completed and all information is accurate, the registration fee has been paid in full, the full payment of any additional fees has been made, and these general conditions have been accepted. Additional conditions for FAST RACE runners only: Registration is only valid if the runner agrees that Sport & Tourism Promotion communicates their presence to promote the race. After the online registration request is made, the registration must be validated by the race committee. Once the registration is validated, the runner will receive a confirmation email.  

Article 2. Right of Withdrawal

In case of non-participation, no refund will be accepted.

Article 3. Cancellation of the Event

If the event cannot take place due to exceptional circumstances, ASBL Sport & Tourism Promotion cannot, in any case, be held liable for refunding the registration fees and any additional costs.

Article 4. Participation

Participation in the event is only possible if the registration is valid and the age conditions or legal consent from the guardian are met. During participation, proof of registration (race number) must always be visible, or else disqualification will occur. The participant must always show respect for the environment. The participant is responsible for their own safety and that of other participants. Participants must follow the instructions of the organizers, medical teams, and police. The organization reserves the right to exclude participants from the event who do not comply with these general terms or who pose a danger to themselves or others.

Article 5. Payment

The participant must always pay in advance the total registration amount (registration fee and supplements) using the online payment system provided. On the day of the event, on-site registration is possible subject to availability, at the specific rate for on-site registrations. ASBL Sport & Tourism Promotion believes it has taken all possible and appropriate precautions and acts as a normal and prudent online seller. ASBL Sport & Tourism Promotion therefore disclaims any liability in case of theft and accidents.

Article 6. Healthy and Safe Sports Participation

Participation in a sporting event requires good health. The participant declares to meet this condition. The organization recommends a preventive sports medical examination by an accredited sports physician in preparation for participation in a sporting event. In the event of an accident or physical problems occurring during the event, the participant cannot claim damages from ASBL Sport & Tourism Promotion.

Article 7. Personal Data and Intellectual Property Rights

All data related to participants is intended for Sport & Tourism Promotion. However, this data may be communicated to parties that are contractually linked to ASBL Sport & Tourism Promotion. The law of December 8, 1992, concerning the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data provides the right to access and rectify data. The participant may request the rectification of their personal data at any time, using the contact details provided in these general conditions. By participating in the event, you agree to a possible use of your data, photo, or image rights in printed, film, video, or other forms for promotional purposes for Sport & Tourism Promotion and its events, without claiming compensation in this regard. The participant acknowledges that techniques may be used to detect their precise location at any time by receiving signals emitted by the chip embedded in the participation proof carried by the participant. The participant authorizes Sport & Tourism Promotion to disclose this information so that everyone can consult it during the race.

Article 8. Validity of Clauses

If one or more articles of these terms are null or illegal, for whatever reason, this will not affect the validity of the other articles of these general terms.
